Sydney - Canberra itinerary
Located 280 km from Sydney, Canberra became established as Australia's capital in 1913 and is currently the centre of all Australian administration and politics. We introduce Canberra, a city where you can see Australia's past, present, and future.
- National Museum
It is an impressive place where unusual sculptures and brightly toned buildings harmonise with a wonderful backdrop. Unlike its flashy and modern exterior, stepping inside reveals exhibitions centred around items used by Europeans when pioneering Australia, as well as the history of the Australian Aboriginal people. - Embassy village
You can see the cluster of 77 embassies in Canberra, Australia, as we drive past on the bus. You can view the South Korean embassy and various other embassies gathered together in this foreign land, showcasing the appearance of Australia's parliamentary capital. - Parliament House (During the Floriade flower festival, the interior of Parliament House will not be visited due to time constraints.)
We visit Parliament House, the heart of Canberra. Built in 1988 to commemorate Australia's bicentenary, it was designed by the famous American architect Walter Burley Griffin. Situated alongside Lake Burley Griffin, which is named after the architect, it projects a unique and majestic atmosphere. Inside, visitors can actually go on a tour, and photographs and portraits of past Speakers of the House are also on display. - War Memorial of Korea
Australia fought in the First and Second World Wars, and this war memorial first opened in 1941. Inside, with a solemn atmosphere, there are monuments engraved with the names of soldiers who died in wars, alongside various weapons, fighter jets, tanks, and combat uniforms that were used to vividly depict wartime situations. Especially in the Korean War section, you can feel a sense of pity and gratitude towards the fallen Australian soldiers.
